CONCEPT

A unique scouting and training concept.

We call it STEP.

1. SCOUTING

We spot every promising talented player. We are informed about the latest developments on the European table tennis scene, meet key movers and keep our network up-to-date. We are present, so our partners don’t have to be.

2. TESTING

In this intensive phase we focus on building up a personal relationship to the player. We get to know each other. Then we have to assess whether the talented player has exceptional potential and is champion material. If players match our requirements, we recruit them for our educating stage.

3. EDUCATING

When the players make it to the educating status, they practice as members of the Resident Youth Team. We get the player ready for professional table tennis. Aside from technique and physical fitness, players need tactical skills, the qualities of a winner and a well-balanced personality.

4. PROTECTING

Players who want to become pros, must be able to fully focus on their discipline. According to our holistic approach we support and advise talented players in all aspects of their professional career.

MANAGEMENT

A highly motivated management team ensures smooth behind-the-scenes operation. Each team member carries out their duties with professionalism and passion.

Kristijan Pejinovic (Managing Director)

On 22 April 2012, the final regular match day of the Bundesliga season 2011/12, Rainer Ihle, longtime head of TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen, passed on his office of president to the former vice-president and manager Kristijan Pejinovic. In 2009 they had co-founded the Liebherr Masters College with ESN DTT GmbH (Dr. Georg Nicklas) – the aim being to turn it into Europe’s best independent table tennis training centre. Exploring new ground takes more than just an idea.

3

TRAINING GROUP

Our training group standard is high, its number of members low. Our coaches have time to devote quality time to individual players and we believe in a hands on approach: our talented players don’t just train alongside the Bundesliga pros, but with them. They also train at a high intensive level and are faced with exceptional playing situations and innovative stroke techniques, something no other style of training group can achieve.

4

TRAINING CONDITIONS

Physiological support

Like in every other discipline pursued at professional level, optimum physiological support is essential and our players are cared for by an interdisciplinary team of experts.

  • PHYSIOTHERAPY: Wolfgang Bunz, Thorsten Oliver, Eduardo Perez Moreno
  • NUTRITION: Christian Rieder, La Vita
  • HEALTH CHECK: Rainer Fimpel
  • RELAXATION: Jordanbad
  • FITNESS: Mikael Simon, Goran Zufar
  • SPORT MEDICINE: Dr. Matthias Franke
Sparkassen TT-Leistungszentrum

The new Sparkassen TT-Leistungszentrum was opened in April 2012 with twelve tables. The centre is owned by TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen and is always available to us. We have therefore created an optimally equipped home for our players. They train in a highly modern hall, can relax in our social area and meet up in the TopSpin sports bar.

5

LOCATION

At Ochsenhausen players can fully concentrate on their sport and goals. Our small town is very friendly and personal, so offers the best conditions to feel at home. Everything is close by to ease daily life, which is particularly important for our youngsters and their parents.
